We have been attending WKA for 2 years and have had a wonderful experience. The classes are well organized, my son is learning a ton and we enjoy the flexibility of the schedule. Without a doubt I would recommend Western Karate Academy to anyone thinking about trying karate. Plus, the first month free is a great way to try it out!

My son goes here and it's the best thing I've put him in! They teach structure, use time wisely, and it's been great for teaching him to defend himself when he's needed to. Sensai is a great teacher also! I highly recommend this place :)
My boys love going to this class and enjoy seeing all the other coloured belts helping out with the lower belts. They really like sensei and his sense of humour. I like the respect and discipline they're learning and that they're keeping their young bodies active and healthy.
We have been attending Western Karate Academy for a couple of years as a family. I found it to be a really enjoyable place to train. Sensei James Doan provides a great balance between discipline and fun, especially for the younger members. The structure of the classes are well organized. Classes are broken down into smaller groups, which enables you to focus in on certain techniques as well as the opportunity to practice with your peers . it is a non-intimidating and friendly environment. If you are looking for a place to start your Karate training, I would definitely wholeheartedly recommend Western Karate Academy. The bonus is, Western Karate Academy provides you with 30 days free, so you can decide for yourself if this is the place for you!
WKA is great place to learn karate and more.... The sensei is fantastic. They teach personal discipline, ethics and much more. My son loves it.
