I am not the patient but I have accompanied an 88-year-old woman to her appointments with Dr. Lovelace multiple times. He's smart, pragmatic and treats his patients with respect. The older woman I took is nearly deaf (and very sensitive about the condition) but, she's independent and still very sharp. Most people/doctors speak directly to me when I accompany her b/c of her hearing and age. Not Dr. Lovelace. He actually asked me to wait on questions and addressed everything directly with his patient. He types out all his questions and answers on the computer and displays the text in very large text so that the patient can fully participate in the conversation. It's wonderful -- and so empowering for her. I have also had no issues getting her in for last-minute appointments and blood pressure checks.

Personally I had a great experience here. I scheduled my appointment one week in advance, and when I showed up my appointment was on time. The staff was very kind and helpful. I'd be happy to come back again.

I have no idea how this place is still open. The staff here seem to be only here for the paycheck, they don’t really care about the patients. When you go to a baystate affiliated office, it’s completely different. Customer service is amazing. I just watched them call an elderly lady, and she couldn’t hear that well. They called her name twice and walked away. She has been sitting here for a couple hours and no one even acknowledges her.
