I have great concerns about the number of cats all in one room at this place (hundreds). We have a gorgeous kitten from Cajun Ragdolls, and although she is beautiful, she was definitely not appropriately socialized with humans. I don't know how they could provide the needed human interaction with the literally hundreds of cats to care for. Our cats loves other animals, but socializing her with humans took many many months, and she is still a bit standoffish with people which is not at all like this breed. We have another ragdoll cat, and our little gal loves being around cats, but cannot handle being away from them due to being raised with tons of cats. Her personality is not at all like what one would expect from a ragdoll, as she did not get enough human TLC before she was adopted. Very different experience from our other ragdoll who was from a home with only one litter and played with by humans constantly. In addition, our little gal from Cajun Ragdolls was just diagnosed with an autoimmune skin disease. She will require ongoing care, including creams, frequent vet visits, and steroids. Autoimmune diseases are genetic in nature, and this little gal is going to require a lot of expensive TLC due to this diagnosis. Although I would never get rid of her, because I am not that kind of pet owner, I would never consider getting another cat from this place. They should focus on the quality of attention they give to the animals rather than the quantity of animals they are breeding. I am not big on doing reviews and don't want to cause this breeder issues, but I think these concerns should be known, especially if you are going to spend 1.5K on a cat that you expect to be healthy, as well as appropriately socialized.
