I’m not sure what happened with this establishment, but the food is not up to standards as per pre-COVID. The chicken shawarmas are appetizer size now for more money. I wanted a beef shawarma bites and was going to be charged 7.49 for a medium size to go container of only lettuce with the meat at an extra charge of 6. Totally ridiculous. The shawarmas are being charged an extra 1, but have diminished in portion size.

Wow! My husband and I came here today for lunch and it was sensational! This isn't a fancy place; it is a short order restaurant with just a couple of tables, but it was delicious and the staff was wonderful! It was my husband's 33rd birthday and the waitress graciously took photos of us and brought my husband TWO surprise desserts on the house. Our portions were large. The food was well spiced, fresh, and healthful and this was the perfect place to accommodate special diets, including Vegan and Ketogenic eating! We will be returning and considering Famous Shawarma on our next take out night.
Ordered lunch today (9/29) This used to be my favorite place for shawarma. I have since moved to Taylor and don't get to enjoy it as often. My sandwich and hummus were amazing as usual. Thanks to the owner for reaching out to me!

This is a hidden gem! The dressing on the Greek Fattoush Salad was absolutely delicious! My husband and I shared the Saji Sandwich (chicken), and the hummus. Everything was wonderful! The 2 gentlemen working were very friendly and welcoming. The restaurant was clean. We will definitely be back, this may become our new favorite stop on this side of town!
