This is a great place to go and learn about history and see some amazing collections. The amount of information/stuff is a pleasant surprise. Worth the effort for sure. They do a great job of displaying the Lamp/Lantern and Gramophone collections which are second to none! Toured this extensive facility and was extremely impressed. Fantastic collections - firearms dating back to the late 1800s, phonographs of every shape, size and description, Aladdin lamps - before and after electricity and various other interesting collections. The displays are very well done, the site is organized in a thoughtful and logical way and it is very clean and accessible for all. The lady on site was very helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed our tour. We were impressed that a rural town would have such an extensive museum.

Great little place to visit and learn about the history of the surrounding area. Also gret for the community with events and a very enjoyable pancake breakfast. Hope to be able to visit again.
I attended the pancake breakfast and discovered the many hidden treasures in this museum. Lovely volunteers; informative and quaint.
good place to go to get away
This is a really nice little place. They have the biggest collection of very well preserved gramophone I've ever seen. Their rifle collection is quite impressive as well.
