Most of the teachers are wonderful (with few exceptions) but often teach rigorous courses. Christianity is highly emphasized and is a social requirement. If you are not a christian it will be very hard to survive socially here even though many of the kids are simply nominal Christians and have no genuine faith at all. There are very good fine arts and soccer programs. That is pretty much it... P.S. The football team sucks.

Westminster is a wonderful school where there is an intentional focus on celebrating the gospel. There is a great sense of community and the students are well-supported and cared for. Communication with parents is also very good and the campus is very clean and safe. I would recommend this school to anyone looking for a strong academic program, with many opportunities for your children to participate in extra-curricular activities and character-building experiences.

We love Westminster Schools of Augusta. It isn't very common, I don't think, to find teenagers who love their school -- ours do and we are so thankful! Our teens have been with Westminster since Kindergarten & I can't imagine them anywhere else! This school provides top notch education with a biblical worldview, amazing teachers who truly care about your child (in and out of the classroom) and a desire to develop character & life skills in students that will ensure success in college and beyond.

We chose Westminster Schools of Augusta for many reasons. They have a Christian staff that loves and nurtures the children from Pre-k through 12th grade. We find great peace in knowing that our child is taught God's Word in the classroom daily and to respect God's world and the people in it. The class sizes are small giving more opportunity for a teacher to have the time to reach out to each student. The lower school is blessed to have para-pros in all classes through 5th grade. Parents at Westminster are anxious to help in all activities of the school, giving the children fun opportunities outside the classroom. Westminster offers an array of competitive athletic sports throughout the school year. The Fine Arts department at Westminster is flourishing and award winning. In addition to academics, fine arts and athletics at Westminster also emphasizes service and caring for others through numerous community service projects. Westminster is committed to providing a safe and caring learning environment enabling instructors to teach the skills necessary to excel in college and to be compassionate citizens in the community.
