Dr. Radcliffe-Branch has taught me concrete tools to help manage my migraines. She is very understanding as she herself lives with chronic pain. I feel comfortable expressing myself to her. She is one of the calmest, sweetest people i have ever met.

I was diagnosed with MS 25 years ago. In 1994 I was living my chronic condition with a lot of confusion. In 2007 when I experienced another bout of paralysis I was confused and disoriented. Finding out about MyToolbox program that Dr Deborah Radcliff was managing was a guiding light. I took the 6 week program and on my 2nd session had the realization that my chronic condition was my new business of managing my health. I have worked in Business Developments as a professional and was now going to develop ways to manage my health issues with the tools of MyToolbox. It’s with great appreciation and gratitude I express my highest regard for this program.
May 21st 2019 I have worked with Dr. Radcliffe-Branch since 2007 at the inception of My Toolbox along with 17 leaders with varied experience and knowledge. Through her guidance she transformed a mere trial programme of matching pairs of leaders with groups of individuals suffering with a multitude of chronic ailments and pain into a successful, proven approach to self-management of their problems. While the programme alone was brilliantly designed, Deborah’s ability to match participants with the appropriate fellow participants and leaders ensured a more meaningful experience for all. We were able to aide others to understand the reasons why it is so important for people to not only be active, involved members of society but how the inability to continue that involvement is detrimental not only to health but also to spirit. By enabling every type of person with whatever ailment, the programme has created more assured, capable individuals. Throughout, Deborah was always available to provide insight into subjects and/or incidents that occurred during these workshops. Feedback from participants in self-management strategies/techniques has been, amongst others “I became better at setting realistic goals and assessing their achievability”. About self-management in general, the positive feedback looks much like, in particular “What I came away with is a realization that there are so many types of “chronic pain” and so many different ways of expressing it, and dealing with it, according to each individual sufferer. I think I needed that, because, as was so aptly pointed out by the group in general on the first day, ISOLATION is the worst culprit, affecting every one of us.” Dr. Radcliffe-Branch is a highly qualified professional whose presence will be beneficial to the practice but foremost to the individuals who seek her guidance in self-managements techniques. I wish her nothing more than the very best. Virginia Vanderstay-Bostock
