After reading many negative reviews, i decided to give them a shot anyways. I went this afternoon and was pleasantly surprised. I was greeted with a smile and was shown into the back area of the salon, where it turns into a spa. Massage was good and professional. Wasn't the best, but definitely wasn't the worst. Thumbs up!
Bought discounted vouchers, and after reading some negative reviews, we were skeptical. However, they were friendly and the massage was fine. While it wasn't the best massage I've had, it wasn't horrible either. We were offered tea/ coffee at the end of the session. The staff speaks little English, and it isn't the most fanciest spa but overall a satisfactory experience. I'd say it would be 3 stars had I paid the full price, but since it was a discounted voucher, I rate it 4 star with not much to complain about.
Just got my massage, mini facial and exfoliation. Service was great, staffs were friendly. The place is clean and smells lovely!
Read the many negative reviews, but decided to try it for myself. Got a coupon from livingsocial 60 min massage with mini facial 39. The massage was pretty good. I get approx 2 massages per month so have plenty of experiences to compare with. I do not remember her name.. sounds like Kasinga. She works on Wednesdays, I assume approx 33 years old. Place is very clean and quiet. Staff could improve communication skills with customers. Masseuse should ask if customer prefers soft, medium or strong massage and ask if pressure is ok a few times during the massage and if customer is comfortable. Was well worth the 39. Would return depending on regular price. Seems that is one thing they should have mentioned when I left and at least ask me if I am satisfied with the massage... but zero communicative skills.
If you're debating on trying this place because the reviews are all negative and you're one of those "it can't be that bad people" please save your money!! Because it is actually this bad. Despite the fact that THEY TAKE OFF YOUR CLOTHES WITHOUT PERMISSION and ultimately make you feel extremely uncomfortable when you're suppose to be relaxed are a few indications that this place is not worth your time. Honestly this place cannot have less credit. The pictures on their webpage are even taken from google images - ergo, DONT GET FOOLED BY THE WEBPAGE PICTURES because they are from more credible spas.
My first review on Google, really disappointing that it has to be a negative one. This is the worst experience I have had with a spa. Will never go back here, the worst service I have had for a massage appointment.
Got a Groupon for this spa and was sadly disappointed. In my opinion if you're selling a discount coupon it's because you want to attract business and make people come back....well I most definitely won't be going back! Showed up with my friend who booked the appointment for us and it turns out the only reserved for one person even though my friend called twice to confirm that it was for two people. That being said they did her manicure while I went for my massage. The lady made me feel very awkward and they hardly spoke English or French. The towels were super starchy too. They used an oil to massage instead of a cream so I was sticky and gross all the way home and I was sliding out of my flip flops. The massage was too fast and missed key areas. There was a facial included so when she flipped me over she started massaging some areas so my eyes were closed and the next thing you know I had wet stuff all over my face without any warning. When I left the room I still had facial stuff stuck to me because she didn't wipe it off properly. Then it was my turn for a manicure and she tells me she doesn't have time anymore and I need to come back another day, which I found ridiculous. I booked for two days later and when I showed up she told me I was booked for the following week (which made no sense cause I was going no out of town that week). I think she realized how pissed off I was cause she called someone on her phone and miraculously someone appeared who was able to do my manicure. Manicure really wasn't that great, she seemed shaky and unsure the whole time. Definitely one of my worst spa experiences and would never ever go back. Unprofessional and disorganized to say the least...I have no idea how they're still in business.
