Horrible bedside manner. Very combative almost hostile when you question her diagnoses. Very dismissive of the pain I was in. I went in to see her and after very flippantly telling me my situation was just constipation she left the room I had to beg her nurse to call her back because I knew my issue was more than that. She refused to come back and had the poor nurse going back and forth several times as I insisted I needed more attention paid to my issue and recounted TO THE NURSE what id been dealing with. After 3 attempts by the nurse she returned hostile and clearly not wanting to be bothered. I found her demeanor off putting, brusque, her flippant down playing of my concerns, rude, and combative. I left feeling pretty embarrassed having to have such a personal issue handled so dismissively. She appears to get frustrated easily which makes me wonder why she became a doctor. Would never return to see her.

Dr. P did my colonoscopy last December, 2019. Before that appointment, we met and discussed things. I had a great experience with Dr. P, the staff, and Cleveland Clinic, this after going routinely every 5 years since 2000 when my Mom was diagnosed, and subsequently died with colon cancer. I don't understand the negatives, it was solid PLUS experience for me, as a first time with her as my physician because my previous dr retired. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

She’s a very heartless doctor who has no understanding or compassion towards what one is experiencing. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone.

She is my GI Dr. She had done all of my recent endoscopy/ colonoscopys. I have had nothing but wonderful experiences with her and I have alot of complications. Her bedside manner is great. She has a wonderful sense of humor making her a very down to earth DR you feel comfortable speaking about anything with. When I had an issue she got in me in the next week for a test, and had me on medication and feeling better in 2 weeks time. I highly recommend her. And I have seen ALOT of Gi drs. Having now my colon removed. She definitely knows her stuff.

Can anyone give a good review about this doctor? All these negative reviews seem very disturbing to future patients. I was thinking of setting an appointment with this Doctor, but after reading all these reviews I'm very concerned.

My wife has Crohn's. The medical guidance and communication with Dr Palekar and the Cleveland Clinic, has been terrible. A totally incoherent experience.
