I would like to start by saying what an amazing place. To the staff the management and the program. It has been a difficult journey but I was given so much support from my peers to my support workers. This service has saved my life given me the tools and knowledge I need to continue my life drug free. I had no self worth or confidence in myself but day by day the staff have held me every step of the way. I felt safe for the first time in years and built trust with my therapist who worked with my past traumas. I feel like I now have a reason to live and a purpose and this is all down to you guys at western councerling. I have done many treatment centres but this one if by far the best . I owe u my life thank you so much for giving me back and helping me find the way to s better life.

This place has its ups and downs, like everything in life. I tried to focus on the positives but the negatives outweighed them. There were a couple of great, experienced counsellors, who I now know have left. Some younger ones meant well but came from a college background. While I'm an advocate of education, I'm not sure that people learning from books and lectures can truly understand the multifaceted nature of addiction. In all honesty, this place left me feeling worse. It's just my opinion, however. So decide for yourself.

This place is amazing. It’s very hard to put into words what western Counselling Services has and continues to do for two of my sons. My youngest son had a funded place at a young age and then when my middle son realised his addiction we knew exactly where to get support and paid privately for his treatment. They have both been treated with dignity and kindness. It was very hard to be away from them but when they told me it’s like their 2nd home it became much easier. The only negative thing I can say is I miss the visits this time around but that is nothing to do with WC but more about COVID! Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Well done Western Counselling and all your staff, keep up the brilliant work you do!

When I walked into this wonderful treatment centre I was so broken mentally and physically I don't even remember my first couple of days. Spending 3 months here gave me the tools to begin a new clean and sober life. I was cared for by amazing staff. I left understanding more about who I am and what I needed to do to stay Clean & Sober. I remain forever grateful to Weston for getting me on my road to recovery. I am 28yrs clean!!!
