Poor service. The worst of all time. After the woman was done washing my hair and face, my face and my shoulders were wet. I then requested a blow dry, but she said that I could not because I did not make an appointment. Then, I asked for a towel to dry my hair. She said to wait with rude tone. At the end, I did not get a towel; I went home with my hair and shirt all wet. What a disaster! Needless to say I’m very disappointed and will not ever return.

Such a cute and good concept. I have tried the at home system of hair coloring. I love the at home system. Which you can buy direct, ship to home or even at Ulta beauty. So I was excited to hear that there is a color bar. I hope to have one closer to my home. Its located in a charming ct town of Westport. Which is about hour and twenty minutes. When you arrive. There is plenty of free off street parking. Its bright and clean atmosphere. Friendly staff to walk you thru the process. For corona virus they sanitized, took temps, and kept social distance... The products they use are cruelty-free, " Leaping Bunny certified" which no animal testing! Which I love!! Unlike other brands, Madison Reed hair color is free of ammonia, PPD, resorcinol, parabens, phthalates, gluten, SLS, titanium dioxide Also full of keratin, argan oil, and ginseng root. No harsh odors. Left my hair all of dimensions and soft. Overall good experience if it was closer to my home I definitely would be going back to do my hair but I will do the at-home experience due to the fact that I love the color so much.

Poor service and management. They would pick the hair color that make you look 10 year older. After the woman was done washing my hair. My face and my shoulder were wet. I started off LOVING this place. Clean and pleasant. Last week I went to get my usual hair color. The person who helped me - no idea the name as she didn't introduce herself and no name tags - used sections of my hair and pulled my hair to move my head as she wanted vs asking me or gently tilting my head. That isn't the worst of it. After she coated my hair with root color and a gloss, she disappeared. I was busy catching up on work reading and didn't notice the time pass. I looked at the time and it had been 20 extra mins of processing for a total of 1hr and 5 minutes - at the very least. Maybe more. I couldn't find my colorist and asked the person at the front desk to double check my time. She immediately rushed me off and rinsed my hair. Never saw the colorist again. My hair is almost jet black at the roots. Not the medium brown it is supposed to be. My scalp is irritated from having the color on for so long. After calling and emailing Madison Reed, they have provided zero help. They canceled my subscription and haven't offered to try to fix it or pay to fix it. While they did refund me about 200, it is going to cost me closer to 550 to do a color correction. I get mistakes happen. But good customer service tries to resolve them vs run away from them. Madison Reed not only ran away from the problem, they sprinted.

Khadija did a fabulous job :) I’m soo happy with my results. She is very knowledgeable about all of their products, and - Immediately I felt comfortable with her. The products are very gentle & fabulous in general. I could see/feel an improvement in the texture & shine. I will only use Madison Reed Color Bar moving forward. Thank you for a great experience
