Look, these boots are expensive. Even on sale. But, and this is a huge 'but' they provide excellent traction and are warm at -30C. I have emailed the link to a number of friends and relatives in the hope they'd get a pair and keep safe. At -30C straight ice is hard like diamond and the studs will slip. I expect NHL sharpened skates would have trouble biting on ice at -30C. On more normal winter days they are far better on sheer ice and are always perfect on hard packed, polished, slippery snow on roads. We walk 99% of the time feeling as secure as we feel in runners/sneakers in the summer. Putting them on, and taking off, is a royal pain, not because of any design issue. They are overshoes. It comes with the territory. I discovered if I left a pair of slip on shoes in them, and put them on like boots, slide in my foot while standing, it worked a charm. Two other possible downsides for some might be that they are clunky. Think walking on a beach wearing flippers being 100%, bare foot is 0% these overshoes would be 30%. However, you soon adapt and I don't notice being Big Foot anymore. Finally, they are not pretty. Not a fashion item. Utilitarian. If you want fashion you have a choice: stay inside or wear fancy and risk breaking a hip. Bottom line: Health insurance companies should pay 50% of the cost to keep people out of hospital. These overshoes are amazing and may well save your life! Be safe. Order now! It's a no brainer.

This company is so great! I’ve always received amazing products and customer service from The Brown Bear. After buying a pair of slippers for myself, my girls wanted a them too! They’ve become our signature family slippers. These slippers are great quality and so comfortable. And the rabbit fur is amazing. Just beware if you have doggies in your home. It seems that my grand puppies think they’re really playing with a rabbit if they get a hold of a slipper that isn’t warming your feet. \u200d️ Not to worry if it happens, because the Brown Bear run sales so you can get another pair if necessary!
We are most pleased both with the large men's mittens and speedy delivery. My husband's hands are very long but narrow so concerned about size which is perfect. Quality is excellent.

A friend of a friend had made me a pair of native moccasins over twenty years ago, and I finally, after re-sewing and glueing, reluctantly had to commit them to “boot hill”. I looked around at retail stores for a pair of moccasins, but couldn’t find what I was looking for. I found Moccasin Canada on line and saw a pair that looked like my old moccasins. I ordered them and received them in three days. They are very well made and fit like a glove. One thing I did was to add the felt inserts I had removed from my old moccasins, as they provided extra cushion and also the warmth I had been used to. I’ll “try” not to wear these outside as much, so they should last me at least twenty years.. Thanks, I will definitely recommend Moccasin Canada to my friends.
