This park has restrooms at the parking lot. You need a Washington Park pass to park or there is free parking further up the street. The trail is completely paved and welcomes all abilities and benches for that little break to catch the views of the ocean. Please use the trash receptacles at the entrance or pack out what you pack in.

Fabulous ocean vistas! Nice walking trail. The lighthouse is very worth a tour. Very knowledgeable staff in a beautifully restored landmark which belongs to -South Beach Historical Society, so there is a 5 fee to go in.

It was a cool December day that we enjoyed thoroughly. Excellent place to view the Pacific. My adult sons and I would definitely return to this beach for peace and quiet and to enjoy exploring and shell gathering.

One of my families favorite beaches. It tends to have mainly families and always enough space. There is a paved trail overlooking the ocean that takes you to another beach area that seems to be great for surfing, SUPs, and skimboards. That's pretty cool to watch. Dog friendly. Rest rooms. So many sand dollars, just remember if they are fuzzy on the bottom they are still alive. You need a discovery pass for the best parking, although there is parking along one side of the road. Be careful to only park in parking areas, I've seen parking tickets in the summer for cars parked illegally.
