Just had new tires installed here on my truck. I used their website to select the tires I wanted which was a very slick experience and then it allowed me to book an appointment at my local store in Wetaskiwin. The work was done quickly and professionally and I am very pleased with the new tires.
I have a 1988 Chevy Silverado which I'm rebuilding. I brought the truck to Kaltire to have a wheel alignment done and to have the steering box changed out. I also brought it in to have the spark plugs, wires, rotor, cap and distributor changed. John, the mechanic did the work. After he did the work he told me that he forgot his timing gun at home so he had to adjust the timing by hand. He also told me that he did my wheel alignment but the truck still had a wobble/vibration in the steering wheel. I took it to another mechanic to look at and he told me that the ball joints needed to be replaced before I should have gotten the wheel alignment done. I told him that the Kaltire mechanic should have told me this before getting the wheel alignment done, right? Then he proceeded to inform me that what Kaltire did was illegal. I went to inform the Kaltire manager what I had learned and I admit I was frustrated with the work that was done to my truck. I brought a friend with me so I wouldn't be accused of anything by the manager. While confronting the manager, he tried to accuse me of yelling at him and then he tried to refuse me service. The my friend came around the corner and his lies caught up with him. There is so much more to this story. In my opinion Kaltire ripped me off good hard earned money. And I'm doing second career so everything I do is budgeted to the dollar. I know I should get a lawyer and make this company see that ripping off people is wrong. I still might as the statute of limitations hasn't run out on a claim of this sort. Matt and John are jerks for ripping me off, money and decent service.
Ordered rims tires the rims would be a few days, after a week was told the rims were there but waiting for tires. they saposta find out when but no return call so went in, then was told the tires were back order and not sure when, by then I was about to head north for work so just canceled. I will be going elsewhere when I get back. very poor service
