I recently scheduled an appointment for a test and was asked if I could fax the order from my Dr. to their office. I asked if I could scan and e-mail to which they replied I could upload the order to their patient portal. The upload attempt failed a few times so I decided to drop it off as I pass by their office periodically. When I arrived in the lobby, the glass doors to the receptionist area were closed and a sign read that they were at lunch and to please have a seat and wait. I observed two people standing behind the receptionist desk talking to one another so I figured I would ask if someone could make a copy real quick and I would be on my way. As I explained the situation, the woman said we are at lunch and asked me to have a seat in the lobby. I asked if she wouldn't mind just making a copy real quick (the copier was directly behind her) to which she began to do. The office manager emerged from her office to tell me how rude and inconsiderate I was to interrupt their lunch and I should sit in the lobby for 20 minutes until they were done. I promptly cancelled my appointment and will schedule with another cardiology group that values their customers. It was an inconvenience to me that the patient portal did not function properly and I had to use another method to deliver the order.

My husband has seen Dr. Schouchoff for aortic heart valve replacement. She’s a great doctor and she saved his life. We would highly recommend her for cardiac issues

My cardiologist, Dr. Schouchoff, is the absolute BEST! I have, unfortunately, worked with other cardiologists due to my heart condition brought on by 35 years of Type 1 Diabetes. On each and every visit Dr. Schouchoff takes more than an ample amount of time to talk to me about not only my heart disease but also my diabetes, my exercise and dietary progress, my daughter at college, my two puppies...my overall life. She is concerned when she needs to be, excellent at keeping track of medications and interactions since I take so many, and up-to-date on new things that may help me live life to the fullest. Her nurses and office staff are extremely friendly, proficient, and experienced. I have always had a good experience when visiting Wexford Cardiology either in their office or at the hospital. Dr. Lucero has performed several heart caths for me and is always wonderful when giving me the results. I have been a patient of this practice for over 7 years and would not go anywhere else!

Wexford Cardiology provided echocardiography during my brief hospital visit. I can't speak of their medical expertise as I have my own cardiologist and my own electrophysiologists but I had a nightmare experience with their billing department. After they collected insurance payment from my provider they turned me into the collection agency for 14.72 without ever making an attempt to collect money from me. I traced them back 2.5 months later alarmed by the fact that I didn't receive bill in spite of existing EOB and paid the bill in their office. Their office manager seems untouched by my experience and didn't offer much help in helping me clear my name with collections. She seems a bit confused when I showed EOB as a proof that they collected insurance payment in timely fashion and they were one phone a way from my phone number and address. I honestly hope I never come across these people again in my life.
