A mixed bag today in M&S, good entry, young lad explained i must follow one way system and sanitise my hands.... thats great! The issue was in store no one is policing this, and other patrons are going wherever they like often cutting in front of those who are correctly waiting until someone has moved on. Additionally 3 staff members all came through a section the wrong way, so is it one way for staff and one way for customers? Does not really set a great example when the staff are not bothered and no one polices the set rules. Yes most customers including me did as asked and followed the signs, gave way and waited for sections to become clear, but sadly a few did not.

M&S staff basically are very nice and the service too when you get it. But now the staff are not wearing masks but expect the customers to do so is completely out of order and dangerous to the sta ff plus they took the quick checkouts out and put self service checkouts in its place which is ridiculous. I am not going to be brainwashed by government or companies to use them, because I don't believe in them and they are always breaking down and instead of staff showing people how to use them it would be faster and more efficient to get more staff on the checkouts.
Well stocked. Obviously popular so too crowded for comfort and Covid safety.
Michelle was extremely helpful and friendly during my visit today, she is a credit to the company.
