Terrible, terrible facility. Took my wife just to get a prescription for contacts. Called ahead to make sure they accept our BCBS Insurance, they said it was covered and made an appointment. We go in and the story changes. They say that a contact evaluation is not covered by our insurance. LIE! So we call our insurance while still at the office. They confirmed it IS covered. We even let the insurance company speak to the lady up front so she can see that it is covered in our policy. Now instead of it not being covered by our insurance she says they don’t accept it. Well why didn’t you say that when we called?!?!? This place obviously has no idea what they are doing or they are flat out trying to scam people! Don’t waste your time or money here. Find a more reputable company/doctor! UPDATE*** the “owner” finally responded to this, 4 MONTHS LATER. Basically blaming the Insurance company and of course saying that they give top notch service. To the “owner” I say this, the frustration was not with the Insurance company. They never changed their story. They told us we were covered for the contact evaluation and we were. It was your front desk worker who said we were covered, THEN we were NOT covered, then when we prove we are, now it’s that y’all dont accept BCBS Insurance. It’s pretty obvious your employee made a mistake which caused my wife to 2 hours to your office for no reason. Then rather than just admit it, she tries to pawn it off on the Insurance. It’s ok to make honest mistakes, it’s NOT ok to try to lie to cover it up and then get an attitude with my wife when the jig is up.
