Our experiences with Modern Log Homes went pretty well until the end when our direct contact with their employee Steve suddenly left the company and we had to deal with the owner Tim Stensvad. He did not stand by his commitments and almost totally refused to acknowledge or complete the unfinished or improperly done items on our punch list. We refused arbitration through the BBB because we were in contact with another very unhappy client who lost her case with them, and we concluded the BBB could not be trusted to be objective. The company maintained an A rating in spite of all of this.
