The campground is perfectly situated for easy travel from any direction in Idaho, plus we’re only 24 miles north of the whitewater capital – Riggins, Idaho. White Bird Idaho – the gateway to Hells Canyon – is an easy halfway point in the state for those traveling from either the north or south. (Pssst….we’re great for family reunions and other get-togethers! It’s just 3.5 hours drive from Boise or Spokane)\nWe are family owned and operated and live onsite to offer terrific customer service and the cleanliness you deserve in an RV park. We are the only Good Sam RV Park in the White Bird area and are proud of this affiliation. Final stop for our trip, wanted something quiet and peaceful - this place nailed it. Small RV park right on the Salmon River. There are limited spots, and there were only three of us there (end of season), so we had the pick of spots. It was great to stop, sit outside, listen to the river and enjoy a BBQ for our last night on the road. The entry is a bit tricky - very, very tight left hand turn, but there is a gravel lot directly across from the entrance, so you can utilize that lot to navigate the turn - they will include this information when they confirm your reservation so there are no surprises! Be sure to check out Google Maps in Satellite mode to make sure you understand the entry.

Anna and her hubby were very nice! Restrooms , showers were SPARKLING CLEAN! No Internet was available. No Cell Service in the area! In emergency, you are INCOMMUNICADO. White Bird is AWESOME. See the Battlefield!

This is a quiet place tucked in next to the salmon river. the place is very clean and well kept. lots of shade and wonderful views. we caught lots of fish from the bank and enjoyed ourselves very much. My only complaint is we were told we could have a fire then they changed their minds because of fire danger and air quality. We were tent camping and the camp fire was are only source of heat. So in the evenings we had to leave the park to have a fire on the river bank down the road to stay warm and have any social interaction. if you are tent camping check burning conditions first. other then that, I recommend this place for a quiet and charming getaway. very friendly people.

This place is awesome loved the view from our camp site. Its a small place but people talk to each other and sit around the campfire talking and sharing things. Plane to return soon. Would recommend checking it out.

Lovely RV park with some shade and good amenities. Everything was clean and nice. The RV dump station is in a bad location, not easy to access when leaving.

Great place to camp, right on the river. Some sites are excellent, while some are smaller. Very nice clean restroom and showers. Has dump station. Probably the best rv campground on the river near Whitebird.

Great high quality RV Park! We spent 5 nights here in early June, perfect time of the season. They have 2 bathrooms equipped with shower stalls that are very well maintained. Laundry machines. They sell bags of ice. There is also a dump station. The camp hosts are very nice and helpful and they have an ice cream social on Saturday evenings. The RV park is on the river and is about a mile from the town of White Bird. The town has a very small General Store with many essential items. The park has a communal fire pit and covered eating area with a grill. Each site is large and are equipped with 30A, 50A and 110V power and municipal water. We had a wonderful time and would definitely book again!
