Best cottage experience ever! And we've been to a lot! Dan, the owner, went over and beyond to make sure we had the best cottage experience ever! We have been there twice already and am already thinking about going back next year. If you are looking for a place to spend with family or friends, look no further. Dan is by far, the best host we've ever met. Very highly recommended. If I can give 10 stars, I will!!! Thanks, Dan!!!

One of the best place for a weekend getaway with family and friends! Well equipped, with a jacuzzi, pool and sauna. Came here with friends and the owner himself made sure that we'd have the time of our lives!
It was perfect! If you're looking for a weekend getaway with your family or friends, look no more because you found it. Clean cottages, beautiful location and very accommodating owner. You can even rent a jet ski for extra adventure.
The kitchen area is great, and the pool is very well maintained! Highly recommend for a week away! Owner was very friendly and made sure we had a great time!
We had our wedding on August 18, 2018. We visited the venue twice in the time leading up to our event. Dan was very helpful & laid back & answered all of our questions. We booked the venue from Friday afternoon until Sunday morning. It was everything I had hoped for & more. It isn't a high end hotel - You need to be in the mindset that what you are getting are cabins. Things might go wrong but Dan will always work his hardest to rectify any issues. You just need to let him know. He can't fix something he doesn't know about. If you are a laid back person then this venue is great for you. The views are stunning, the food is lip smacking fantastic... (seriously it was the talk of the night) & the hospitality is great. We had a wonderful bunch of friends who helped us set up our tables and tear them down which took a bit of pressure off of Dan & his wife so that they could focus on cooking up a storm & looking into any queries people had. It works really well this way, so if you plan to stand around & be waited on you should pay a small group of people to do that for you. Keep in mind that there is a lot of stuff happening at a wedding all at once & that can be a lot for 2 people to take on but honestly when you see Dan & his wife work together you will be reminded of what a solid marriage looks like. Be a decent human being & I promise this will be the wedding that none of your guests ever forget. We received so many compliments & oooo's & awww's about the whole ordeal. We finished our big day off with Dan's fireworks show! People were so surprised & the screams of excitement confirmed for us very quickly that deciding to add them to our package was the right move. I could not have asked for a better wedding & I have no regrets about choosing White lake private resort as our venue! Thanks Dan for such a great time!!!
We rented White Lake Private Resort for our annual family weekend. It was the perfect spot for three generations of our growing family to get together. We were able to lodge 24 adults and 8 kids with room to spare. Dan is extremely accommodating to his guests’ specific needs and responds quickly and efficiently to any requests or questions. The pool and sauna area made our mid-October stay feel like an extension of summer. The rooms, kitchens and common areas were clean, warm and cozy when we got there, and as BBQ enthusiasts we were pleased to find many grilling options at our disposal. White Lake Private Resort is a great place to host large groups at an affordable price. We are sure to visit again!
July 4th 2020 Highly do not recommend. Paid in full 7000 in good faith 6 months prior to attending this resort. For a family reunion. With the pandemic travel restrictions are very strict. Traveling from the United States or western Canada a 14 day self-quarantine is required going both directions. This leeds to a travel time of more than one month for a 5 day stay at this resort. We requested a refund or postpone until next year but the answer was no. So only half of the family was able to attend. This resort now was double the price. Most everyone and every business in the world has lost or is losing money during this time. We even told them that a 10% managerial fee would be paid. they are not interested in having the consumer have a good time they want is the and lots of it. The people that are there now are getting to use outhouses to be able to keep their distance and or from contamination from each other. The Resort gets all the money with only half the people so their costs are half as much. Very poor Ps i had to leave one star to be able to post this. Should have none
The resort was fantastic and Dan was an excellent host. The food was delicious and everyone had a great time. We look forward to booking again next year!
