Good for kids
This is a nice little camping site. The small size contributes to the intimate feeling. There are defined pitches which are large and well separated, some by trees, making them quite private. The field is somewhat slanted, but not so much that it becomes a discomfort. However our neighbours' car got stuck after several rainy days due to this - they were quickly helped by the owner who towed them with his truck. Oir pitch was a bit stony, and ot was difficult to insert some of the pegs. Bathrooms are some 3 minutes walk away. There is one shower and one toilet each for ladies and gents. They were kept very clean. Showers work with 50p coins giving 7 minutes of warm water. No kitchen or dish washing facilities. Owner Pete was very easy going and friendly, even providing us with a hand drawn map of local attractions. He also sells eggs for a good price, ideal for breakfast! Altogether a good experience and if we decide to travel to this area again we will be back .

They now have Alpacas for walking plus Rare chichens and Ducks at the farm, lovely place for children.
Good little campsite, only thing I would mention is the campsite is quite a way from the toilet block and it is not well lit, take a torch. I wouldn't walk to the toilets on my own as a woman at night there. Also no signs for reception!
Nice, quite campsite on a farm. Owners really easy to deal with.
