I have played soccer for nearly 25 years. Never have I had a worse experience in my life than that at Free State Sports Arena. Referee's didn't show up for games, the schedule was changed multiple times during the season, the facility was poor, and then they don't book referees for the final (championship) game of the season. Instead of an apology, the response was we run a great facility. I will never play here or spend money here again and I suggest you do the same. There are a TON of other options for indoor sports with better fields and better employees/managers.

If you’re thinking about joining the indoor adult league on Tuesday nights, just say NO! Besides the horrible field conditions and sexist/antiquated league rules (a female player has to touch the ball once on the attaching end before a team is allowed to score), the league itself is poorly run. There’s little to no communication regarding a schedule, changes in game times and playoff games. The league coordinator would inform us of a game the day before. There were no refs present at some games and the refs themselves were unaware of the league rules. Not worth the money and frustration to join this league. If you’re a female player looking for an indoor league I suggest BOLA- an all women’s league on Monday nights that plays at NRRC in Parkville.

I played in the last adult co-ed Tuesday night soccer league and can say that I will never do it again. The organizer was awful with communication, referees didn't show up for games, money was collected and the season didn't start for weeks, and the management was rude when our team complained. There are far too many options for indoor soccer fields to play at one that is poorly run. I will play elsewhere (Coppermine, Durburns, GOALS, Myers, NERCC, Soccer Dome)

Last time I was here, the fields were pretty bad. Guaranteed rug rash from the fake AstroTurf. It seems like they don’t install it properly either. You trip over the folds when playing. They have made some decent upgrades, but instead they should invest in their fields.
