My husband has been calling and calling to see when his cataract surgery will be done now that we are reopening but during the day it's just a busy signal and in evening just rings and hangs up. No voicemail. Very very frustrating

I went there for cataracts in both eyes. One of the technicians kept making mistakes when measuring and required my return to the office twice for a re measure. Dr Berman was always overbooked so the waits were long and sometimes he was rather abrasive. The procedure itself seemed to go smoothly except my vision which had been normal except for the impairment due to the cataract in that eye, is now very impaired and I can no longer pass the visual part of the drivers exam. I did not return for the second eye to be done.
I found Dr. Berman’s approach to be less than appealing. He was quick to pass judgement without having any, let alone all the facts presented to him. I was hesitant to return for my second visit but decided perhaps the first visit was a hectic and stressful day for him. Unfortunately, at my second visit, he was equally judgmental and quick to wag his finger without so much as allowing me to explain anything to him. I feel it’s important to note I was not the only patient who was upset with his demeanor and I witnessed his abruptness with another patient who was quietly waiting at the front desk. No matter how good you may be at your profession, no matter how busy or how many times you think you’ve seen or dealt with something, there is no excuse for rudeness. Of you are overworked, stressed out or just plain tired then you need to sort that out for yourself. Time off, reduction in bookings, deep breaths, whatever works for you. I am not giving a low rating due to lengthy waits (yes they certainly can be but also understandable given his caseload). I am not giving a low rating due to poor service by staff (his staff were very lovely and efficient) and I am not giving a low rating based on his skills or knowledge (I don’t doubt that he’s very skilled at the mechanics of his profession) but I am giving a low rating due to his lack of manners and basic common courtesy when dealing with the patients.
Goodness Gracious..pending I can get my necessary appointment for my cataract adjustment I hope can be done by Dr.'Eye' Michael Berman in White Rock...this short edification based on many peoples reviews and testimonials I dare trust my instinct, intuition and Dr Berman's stellar reputation for 'less talk and more efficiency resulting in great efficacy from his 'trade' of improving and repairing people's vision capabilities.
