I can't say enough about the amazing work and exceptional customer service at La Maison Shuku. I was getting married and due to unforeseen circumstances, ended up running out of time to order a wedding dress and had to purchase off the rack (hoping some modifications could be made). I had previously been to a different tailor, only to be treated so poorly. It was a horrible experience. So I went to Shuku who was so understanding and she assured me it would be no problem at all to alter the dress to make it more \age appropriate\. I was so impressed with all the creative ideas she came up with and was ecstatic with the way it turned out. I can't thank her enough for everything she did and at such a reasonable price.

Mrs.Shuku is a spectacular person there's always a warm welcome and smile whenever I walk in the door! Other than her warm heart she is an amazing tailor and seamstress. She's altered all my work gear and dress clothes and it's always done with great detail for a reasonable price and quick delivery. We're lucky to have someone like her in the community.
La Maison Shuku has altered and repaired multiple items of clothing for me. They do a great job! Amazing customer service and I would highly recommend!
Shuku has hemmed and taken in many dresses, coats and pants for me over the last few years and always does an excellent job. She has done some very complex jobs for me and everything always fits perfectly once she is finished. Highly recommend this excellent tailor!
Worst experience at a Tailor ever!!! All 4 items that I brought in had to be returned to be fixed and or should have been. I brought in 4 sweatshirts to have there zippers replaces. I never gave them a time I needed them back, I just said to call when they are finished. When they called a month and a half later I went to pick them up and the zipper didn’t even reach the bottom of the sweatshirt?? I asked why it was so short they said they didn’t have a long enough zipper. I said I gave you no time limit, you couldn’t find a zipper long enough? The next shirt was so poorly sewed my 7 year old could have done a better job. The underside was a big mess of thread all knotted up. The third piece was sewed so that every time you zip or unzip it gets caught. The last one I’m sure they didn’t replace the zipper but they charged me for it. So unimpressed!!! Go to the B.C. tailor instead he is amazing. Wish I would have gone there instead. Won’t make that mistake again.
