Very nice and passionate staff! No wait time today ( though it's not something they can control) but I was given a bed with warm blankets and the Asian looking nurse is so kind and helpful! Really like 5 star treatment :)

My husband had a stroke while in White Rock. He was taken to Emergency at Peace Arch Hospital. He was discharged after some blood work and a chest X-ray and was told he did not meet the “stroke protocol”. He was escorted out of the ER slightly dazed and confused. Luckily our son saw him leaving he could have wandered out into traffic if unescorted. That evening I took my husband to the ER at another hospital. They took his symptoms seriously, he had a CT scan which showed a recent stroke. He is still in the hospital. When he is released he will need physical therapy and a speech therapist, a cane and a walker. Unbelievable treatment by an ER staff that clearly needs education on Stroke Protocol.

Unfortunately I came in with an ambulance and was emitted immediately,. Even though I was out an out of province patient, all the staff and the attending physician were great through my ordeal. This was professionalism at it's finest!
