I like this little store and gas station, the people are really nice and polite.

I have been there four times and have not encountered the rude man described in other reviews. The mature woman working there even directed me to the lower-cost option when I went in to buy a gallon of drinking water for my emergency kit. This store is pretty much what you would expect in such a remote spot, but you might be surprised to see familiar Kirkland items like jarred peaches and canned chicken. If you are going camping or on a day trip and you forgot to bring food/snacks you will be able to pick stuff up for everyone in your group. They’ve got the usual franks and beans and aisles of hooch but also pantry items like Korean ramen, tortillas, Herdez salsas, energy bars and Kit Kats. They also have sunblock and first aid stuff, and camping gear. Most of the inventory is very dusty and few things have visible prices posted. This place looks like it’s someone’s tax write-off. Friendly but super expensive and you take your chances on potentially stale items marked up to 3x the normal price. Wear disposable gloves if you buy gas here- the pumps are bare metal 1970s style.
Amazing little grocery store. 100% covid-19 compliant. proprietor was wearing a mask, had hand sanitizer out for the customers, and a few others were wearing mask too. Fast and friendly service in immaculate clean store. Even the Porta-Potty bathrooms outside were clean.
If we could give this place ZERO stars we would. Rude, condescending owner. Don’t spend your money at this place as the owners could care less about their customers. We went in to buy ice and my husband tried to start a nice convo with the owner. He proceeded to tell him to “get out” and flipped him off. Do yourself a favor, head up to Trout Lake Grocery and skip the BS.
Lots of variety but high prices. They are always open, that's a plus.
