No one showed up to fix our dryer under the protection plan. When we called them to find out why no one showed up they had no record of us calling even though we got a confirmation email. Wait times on the phone are also horrendous and they transfer you to multiple agents because no one has a clue as to what they are doing. I had to call a repair company on my own to get the dryer repaired. Because of this nonsense we are going on almost a week and a half with out a dryer. What shocked me even more is we had them out two years ago for the same issue and they didn’t have any record for that repair either. I do not recommend them.

This is the 3rd time I've purchased something from Best Buy to be delivered. This is also the third time I've taken off work to meet the delivery and the Geek Squad has missed the delivery and failed miserably. The boy claiming to be the manager named Jacob seemed to think it was funny and offered no compensation. Looking at your reviews on Google shows this isn't the 1st time for many others. Very sad customer service.

Went in for an Iphone repair, they were knowledgeable and helpful in fixing my issue.
I fixed my sound system on my own after being told I needed a new one and that it was defective, it took quite a while but supervisors and experts could not fix it! On a scale of 1 - 10, I would rate Geek Squad 0, (YES ZERO)! I will tell anyone I meet how horrible your geek squad is. Totally unreliable and barely knowledgeable. One supervisor said she had this system in her home. And told me I had to buy a new one! Previously I had to buy an external DVD player and that also was not necessary. I think these are just salespeople. And I thank them for nothing. (About 6 hours on the phone while these "experts" could do nothing!) Very Seriously, Joseph Rospetti
Do not recommend wasting your money on their phone protection plan. For starters they did not inform me upon selling me their service that for my galaxy any repairs for my phone would require me to travel about 2 hours away. Also had an excruciating hard time requesting a replacement phone tried to process online did not go through then called and AFTER spending 20-25 minutes giving my info, phone type, and reason as to why I need a replacement the customer rep. told me they no longer process replacements over the phone or online (as of a couple weeks ago). I have paid for this plan for a little over 2 years and have not received the technical help I paid for and was entitled too.. any issues with my phone was more my problem solving so I basically lucked out and paid these people to do nothing. I recently processed my last final request with them for my replacement phone and I will never be purchasing a phone plan through them again not to say they lack in other areas such as laptops and other electronics/appliances but they definitely do not exceed customer expectations in this case. I will end this review with a little positive feedback..employees in store are friendly and wait time is not long even without an appointment I was able to speak with an employee.
