Great to have a can tire in Whitehorse. they have good deals. Love their garden section (bought a gazebo, garden tools, planters, soil, seeds, etc and all are holding up well) and if you need office furniture, get your chair, pens etc here. Staples in Whitehorse will make you pay double (they double charged my card and will not pay me back) so even if the chair is not perfect, it beats paying double..

Where do I begin... The store is in a nice location in the middle of town. It is close to everything. While walking to the store from the parking lot you will see that it is quite nice and clean. Snow is always shoveled off the walkway. As soon as you enter the store and begin your shopping, you will find out how the store staff is very knowledgeable and friendly whenever i need to find something and, I cannot find it on my own I always ask a store employee, and they tell me on witch aisle it is on. Another great benefit Canadian Tire has is you don't need to walk around a lot to find a store employee it would only take you a couple of minutes at most. Now a drawback for Canadian Tire is that it is definitely quite expensive compared to Walmart, which is a couple of minutes down the same road, and that is the reason why i am giving Canadian Tire four stars. To conclude my experience with Canadian Tire they have an amazing amount of inventory and amount of products that you can find, their online store is far ahead of Walmart and they have an amazing return policy however it is on the more expensive side. Overall great experience and if you can't find it at Walmart you go to Canadian Tire they have it!
The Whitehorse Canadian Tire has always been good to shop at for many items. I will not shop there anymore as I was speaking to the owner today regarding a personal matter. He was extremely rude and would not listen to what I had to say. He raised his voice to me and before I could finish he hung up on me !! I have never seen this type of behaviour in a senior manager. This should be dealt with at corporate level, and I will pursue this issue with them !
5 star to the retail and 1 star to automotive, I feel like they are trying to sell me repair that I don't need, first time there they told me I need a Alignment, but second time there they didn't tell me I needed a Alignment, my truck magically align by itself. took almost 8 hours for my truck to get drum brake done. I handled key to them at 8am got my truck at 4pm, I have to called in to ask my truck is ready to pick up already.
Tires here are "somewhat" competitive in pricing, but their service charges are extremely unfair. I purchased both winter and summer tires at Canadian tires. Every other reputable tire shop includes free tire rotation's and balancing. Then will charge for allignment. I even purchased their extended service contract. (Don't do it) However they charge 80.000 plus dollars for balancing. The service is not friendly either. I would not recommend doing business with them.
It's hard to find staff who speak and understand English but when they finally understand they are very helpful
Bought 2 new tires and they put them on right away, plus a oil change was quick! I like that they do a free inspection as well and top up the fluids!
It's a good Canadian Tire. If you know what you are looking for, you can use the website to find what aisle your desired product is in.
