Just returned from an amazing getaway at the beautiful Moon Gate Guesthouse! We are so lucky that this paradise is just an hour’s drive from Winnipeg!! Jenny and Michel are gracious hosts and Michel is an extraordinary baker. The pizzas were incredibly delicious and his sourdough bread was phenomenal! Everything about Moon Gate is so so special...the view, the facilities, the sauna. I’m feeling rejuvenated. I am already planning a winter getaway!!

What a gem! Clean, comfortable- I love looking at all the decor and loved the pieces chosen for this space. Open lay out, lots of space, lots of natural light- definitely will recommend, suggest and plan to come back- one of the highlights for me was the sauna- I felt like I got a lot of healing in thia space
The accommodations are beautiful, and their property and design of the spaces is inviting and serene. I felt rejuvenated and reconnected with myself after a wonderful 5 night stay and Jenny and Michel are such wonderful hosts and very helpful in giving suggestion on what to explore in the area. Make sure you stick around for pizza night on Fridays! The pizza is amazing!
Exceeded my expectations, charming, owners are awesome and helpful. Breakfast is such a treat. Location is idea. I will definitely return. Thank you for a special getaway.
Jenny and Michel are such great hosts that make you feel at home. Moon Gate is such a special place. We have stayed many times. During the warmer months, on Fridays, you can even order wood fired pizza and other goodies made in their artisanal oven, all made from local ingredients. Delicious!

Nice, quiet location with the common area overlooking the river. Comfortable rooms. The hosts are accommodating and include some nice touches that made our stay enjoyable, such as the fresh bread and jams.
This is my favourite place to come and facilitate retreats. It's peaceful and so very magical. The hosts are amazing earth angels. Love them to pieces.
