Place is . They have turkey sausage and bacon if you're a weirdo like me that doesn't eat beef/pork. I asked for a ton of hot sauce on my egg sandwich and they gave me the \special\ hot sauce... Let me tell you, it was special. They know what they're doing and I would highly recommend this place.

Utopia Bagels has been on my bucket list for months due to the great reviews on yelp. We were impressed by their French Toast Bagels and so curious about what the taste and texture is. The exterior decor is really simple and humble but you won’t miss it since there is always a line outside. The wait wasn’t bad and the staff served everyone quickly. There was a great variety of options of bagels, cream cheese spreads, smoked salmon and desserts. We had a difficult time making choices and ended up getting 8 bagels (4 kinds: French toast, Blueberry, Onion and Garlic) and 3 spreads (Tofu scallion, Blueberry and Oreo). Their bagels were amazingly delicious with chewy texture especially the French Toast bagel. The spreads were also great and our favorite was the Oreo and it matched with the French Toast bagel greatly. We definitely will visit again and try different options like sandwiches or waffles shortly.
Utopia Bagels has been on my bucket list for years, but I never made it out there since it is far out in Queens and I never had a car in the city. This changed today when I finally made the trip out there since I had some time on a weekday. I had heard that there is usually a really long line that goes out the door so I had picked a warm day to go and prepared to wait in line. However, I was pleasantly surprised to see that there was no line and I was only one of two customers there. This was around 10am on a Friday. Utopia Bagels has an extensive menu with a lot of different types of bagels and cream cheese so it was difficult to make a quick decision. I decided to try the Worth It bagel sandwich, which is their version of the salmon lox and bagels with cream cheese, and picked the Everything bagel as my bagel option. I was also worried that they would only take cash, but they take credit card. I loved the Worth It bagel sandwich and at under 13 including tax, it is so much better and cheaper than the salmon lox and bagels that you find in most bagel shops around Manhattan or Brooklyn. I would go back every time I'm craving a salmon lox and bagel sandwich if this place was a lot closer to Manhattan, but unfortunately, with the time that it takes to get out there, I probably won't be able to go there as often as I would like. For regular bagel trips, I guess I will stick to Blackseed Bagels, which is my favorite bagel place in the city, but for anyone who lives close by or has the time to make the trip out to Utopia Bagels, I would highly recommend checking this place out!
