I had the “privilege” of meeting this doctor at an appointment with my mother who’s been diagnosed with lung cancer. I will say that I 100% agree with the other review. We had a lot of questions regarding the test results, possible more tests, etc. Let me tell you, this is a man that does not like questions. He apparently was getting annoying at all questions I had, he looked at me and asked “who went to medical school”? I was in disbelief that’s how he responded. It went downhill from there. This was also our first time ever meeting with this doctor. I’m still shaking my head about it. My mother will no longer be seeing him. If you live in the Whiteville area, PLEASE seek treatment elsewhere. I’m upset I’m forced to give him 1 star - should be an option for negative stars.

my wife and I both became patients of Dr. Fink's when we moved to Wilmington. I wish we never had. My wife was fighting cancer and i had a blood disorder. The first question he asked was why we wanted to see him. Duh?? When we left my wife said I think he was more interested in you than me. I agreed. The last few appointments my wife's weight was dropping 5 to 10 pounds between visits. Never did he ever acknowledge the weight loss, but the nurses were very concerned. On the last visit, my wife weighed 89 pounds and he still did not acknowledge it or expressed concerned. Since then my wife passed away. I truly believe that the Dr only shows concern for those that might survive the fight and ignores those that may not survive. I would never recommend him to anyone. The statement above is simply my opinion and how I feel. Luckily, he is no longer at Zimmer Cancer Center.
