Samphire was incredible. A cute romantic restaurant, great atmosphere with friendly staff. After spending the week trying all the oysters, we all agreed that Samphire have the best. The mussels were also super tasty with the cider, rosemary broth. Would recommend booking as they get booked out quite fast!

Samphire is a lovely modern restaurant. The decor/interior is perfect. It is in a central location in town. The food was delicious. Really good quality and fresh food. I had the Samphire fish pie which was fantastic. The friendly staff were very attentive.

Absolutely lovely evening. We were well looked after, and even our 8 month old got to experience their great hospitality. The food was delicious, we had the day boat which was lemon sole in a brown butter and caper sauce, amazing! The mussels were very well cooked, and dessert was also great. Will be on my list to visit again the next time we are in Whitstable.

Welcoming, unfussy, delicious – just three adjectives that describe this beautiful restaurant in the centre of Whitstable. Went for the catch of the day – Hake – perfectly prepared on a bed of lentils. Partner had flank steak on polenta mash. Star of the evening was the starter however – croquetes with a black squid aioli – simply divine. And those oysters of course. (In addition, Covid19 measures were managed well.)
