A very compassionate and professional service from Nick and the other staff dealing with my mother in laws funeral at Barham on 24th December. The whole experience was as painless as it could be and the actual service in the chapel was just as we all wished despite the restrictions imposed due to Covid 19. Our personal thanks to Nick for his help in making this so. A credit to himself and his company.

My wife wanted to write a review, here it is: We have used used this Funeral Directors twice now. For the most important people in our lives Dad and Mum. T Woollards have been truely so wonderful. They showed us compassion and understanding without being patronising. They wanted to make both days just as we wanted, we never felt they were trying to gain the most money, far from it, we only felt they wanted us to be happy in how the days went, they were Very much just about our Dad and Mum, and each funeral was perfect. The funerals were 7 years apart and we can not express how they helped us through these extreamly difficult days. We thank Woollards from the bottom of our hearts and can not recommend them highly enough, absolutely first class.

It has taken me a few days to write this. After turning up, visibly upset, to the crematorium to see a member of staff standing 2 feet away from my grandmother’s coffin, laughing and joking I will never use this company again. At a time when a family are grieving and desperately missing their loved one, is it in any way appropriate or professional to be having a bit of a joke and visibly laughing next to someone’s coffin? I find that utterly disrespectful. It made an already distressing day much worse.

As a family, we would like to thank all the staff at Woodard and Kent Funeral Services in Whitstable for the time, effort and attention to detail, they gave us during a very difficult time. Unfortunately, we lost my grandad recently and the service we received from W and K was excellent. They took the time to listen to what we wanted on the day of the service, and spent time with us as a family to personally hear about the kind of person my grandad was. The service was delivered by Nick, who did an absolute wonderful job and did my grandad proud. He took on board what we had to say, and this was portrayed accurately and respectfully. They even took the time to send flowers to my nan afterwards, and forwarded a copy of the service which was very much appreciated by us all. Many thanks to Nick and his team from all of Bob’s family!

I was recommended by a family friend who had a similar excellent experience. Everything was handled with class and integrity Nick the main funeral director was very tasteful and compassionate. Ashley who done the speaking at my mums funeral was excellent and I’ve had a lot of people come to me and say how elegantly she spoke. Always there to help with either getting things placed to go with my mum or consult a family member. I’d like to thanks the team for an excellent job! Lee.
