Wonderful artifacts, interesting history, and June was great to talk to and learn from. Artifacts are family pictures, letters, and items of the home such as stoves, furniture, & clothing. The buildings are original and their layout has been preserved. Many of the locals are descended from the people who made this history, so there is still a direct connection of to the stories this museum preserves and the people who live here. Would recommend to anyone for a quick stop. A rest stop is just up the road as well so it makes a great spot to stop and stretch your legs before resting.
