We see the endocrine (diabetic) clinic. Very kid friendly with an activity area that has toys and tablets to keep them entertained. I'm not thrilled with the dietitians that I've met the handful of times we've gone. Every child is different and the reactions for diabetics are not all the same. I was treated like I was making things up involving my daughters medication or why we couldn't make an appointment. I also felt like I was being dismissed when voicing concerns. The doctor (Dr. Blue) and the rest of the staff was very nice and they are terrific with my daughter. I do find it slight aggravating that we have to drive 2 hours to the clinic, usually having our appointments last 2-3 hours and really only see the doctor for 20 mins. The rest of time there is spent dealing with the dietitian (who already puts me in edge for the above reasons) and pretty much waiting in the office to be seen. But over all I'm pleased with the endocrinologist department.

Goods and the bads. Never been here (yet), but have to use their nurse line because our pediatric office funnels through them. Feel like they’re my go to in answering questions. Get good nurses and bad nurses. Had one sarcastically respond about me using google as a resource, when I know my child better than anyone who isn’t physically seeing my child, and is half listening to my conversation on the phone. Then theres nurses who are very considerate. Recognition to nurse Connie for being one nurse who made me feel valued. Actually wanted to speak to head nurse and dont think my call back ever made it to one, cause I wasnt asked about what happened. Wont be calling back any time soon. I literally rather “doctor google”.

As a patient going there, it isn't too bad. The best part is the friendly-ness there, but I have to say you are there for a while, talking about BGs and ketones for about an hour, waiting for about 30 minutes, and then only seeing the doctor for twenty minutes, and for 6 month check-ups for urine/blood samples for another 10 minutes. I am a teenager and they do treat me like I'm only five and don't know what im doing. but not a bad place overall.

Love the Telehealth we go to children's merry in KC but had the option to try the Telehealth and have my sons appointment. Saved us tons of time & money! Didn't have much interaction w the nurses but they could've been more attentive.

Nurses are rude and hateful and tell you if you don't like how they do things you can take your child to the only other Dr in town or you can take your chikdnto Kansas City. I hate the fact this town doesn't have other specialists and we have to deal with this place! I would give them 0 stars if possible! Everyone use to be so nice and caring until December and now it seems like all the nurses are rude as all hell.

The nurses were friendly and helpful, and the doctor was patient. Everyone washed or sanitized their hands before and after handling my son. Would definitely see again.

A place like this for children shouldn t even exist. Staff is incompetent and nosy. I am sorry for all the parents and children who have to put up with this, hopefully that will change.
