I scheduled an appointment a month in advance online with Ms. Weber. A friend of mine referred her. I included my cell phone number, desk number , email address, insurance information, along with the personal details of my visit. This process took 30 minutes. I received a text alert reminding me of my appointment. I drove 30 minutes on a Saturday to her office. Only to be greeted by a frazzled woman who had no clue why I was there. She proceeded to tell me she was Ms. Weber herself and she no longer accepts insurance. She is now cash pay at 200 for an hour session. She went into her reasons she exited her contracts. But that was irrelevant. If she had communicated this information before my appointment, then my feelings about her professionalism may be a lot different. Obviously, she didn't bother to read the intake form that I filled out online. She didn't have the common courtesy to contact me prior to my appointment so I could decide if I wanted to see her as a cash pay patient. I would not recommend her as a therapist given my brief experience.
