Steep cover charge: 7. The dance floor is dirty, I mean sand and small debris, in addition people can bring their drinks on the floor and as a result the floor becomes sticky and difficult to dance on. I wouldn't recommend this place for dancing. However the waitstaff was attentive. They have live bull riding on the weekends, and thus the two stars.

Go early, like when the doors open. You only have a few hours before there is no room for 2 stepping. Makes me wonder if they are up to code with how crowded they are. Two things that irritated me: first, DJ doesnt play requested music, even with a tip. Don't ask for a slow song, he won't play any till the very last dance at 1:45am. Second, people who are not dancing stand on the dance floor making the floor smaller for those who want to dance. The DJ did tell them once to get off the floor but it didn't last long. One positive though, the drinks were amazing! I liked how there were numerous security men walking around.
Last Wednesday I took a spontaneous trip to Wichita with my friend here all the way from Tulsa.. This place has a great atmosphere, cheap drinks... but... being a competitive dancer, I would not recommend dancing here. The floors are sticky, gritty, everything you could think of. So I’m just saying if you want to dance... I wouldn’t unless you’re just a line dancer then it isn’t so bad!
It’s not a country bar. Period! They played hip hop and rap 95% of the time. Don’t waste your time. Yeah they had bull riding but they up played how aggressive the bulls were to get attention and hype. I would not recommend this place for a country bar.
I usually have fun with friends but was disappointed that there was no more Fireball special on Saturday night.. especially since it is still advertised on the website. And when I brought it to the owner's attention, he told me "the website hadn't been updated." Instead of arguing about it, maybe you should honor what your website says instead of posting false advertisement.
Bull ridings every Saturday night. I go to club rodeo every time I'm in Wichita. Even though I don't dance well, I still love it.
Would've given 5 stars but they didn’t play City Girls
