Giving it three stars because I've worked with Monkey Bytes a few times and they've been professional, courteous, and skilled in the past. I've been happy to give them my business. This most recent time, I had a fairly easy ask (update) and it went past the time limit (5-7 business days). I had to be the one to keep up contact just to figure out what was going on. Then I was told to continue communication with text -- I did so and then called them when I didn't hear anything. Was told that they didn't receive a text. Then it took and additional day on top of that. Nearly two weeks for what should have been a week max to do a computer update (that ended up being a simple reinstall). The cherry on top was that the guy I interacted with both times was aloof and condescending. I get that people in the IT industry pride themselves on not liking people, but it was like he wasn't even trying. I'm hoping this was a one-off and that things are good in the future.

I finally took back my 500 Mistake. He built me a computer. The hardware is top of the line. The software that he installed never has opened right. He gave me no boot disk. It’s a 500 piece of furniture that basically holds the floor down. My other laptop never did get fixed right either. I have spent about 700 with this guy just to get ripped off. Very Poor business man.
Took care of my locked up losing data terror! A great guy to do business with and listens to customers close enough to laugh at the right places.
I took a pair of Beats headphones to get repaired in August and was told it would be 40 after they fixed them. I would have liked to have known the cost beforehand, but no big deal. The hours that they are open are the times that I work and they are not open during the weekend so I honestly forgot about it and did not pick them up till six months later. A courtesy call to remind me what have been nice but I never received it. When I picked them up I was charged 65 which was 25 more than I was quoted and when I asked why he said he told me he had to replace a part and that they sat at his shop for almost a year. I will never go back.
Professional and quick! Also extremely reasonable prices compared to other competitors in town. Would recommend to anyone. Had laptop screen replaced for half the price other businesses quoted.
