This is the first time I have rented from National. I realize we are in the midst of Covid but.... I had signed up for a mid size SUV. When I got to the desk all they had was a Jeep Cherokee. It was too big for me to drive so I waited for something else. My next option was a very mini car which would not work for a road trip. I just took the Jeep. There was no one in the garage to go over the workings of the car or check it for damage. The car worked out fine but the service was lacking. The desk clerk was very polite and all but there just weren't any cars for me to pick from

6 hrs of flying, 2 contentions, perfect timing.... until I get to my 430 reservation at Wichita. No cars available. So I was late to my 5pm meeting. Thanks national.

The Wichita airport location was combined down to Alamo, Enterprise and National in one place. When we arrived, there "were no cars available". The woman behind the counter was very nice and apologetic. While we did wait about 45 minutes for a car, we were given a very nice upgrade. I'm always happy with National, In Covid-19 times, we all need to practice patience and kindness.

Pick up and drop off of car was very easy. Wichita Airport car rental is very close to the terminal making travel simple. The only negative was the car had odor from a smoker even though there is a sticker that states no smoking.

I have always been happy with my experience at National. I got a great surprise when I recently rented a car for a one way trip. I thought I would have to take it back to the airport which would have added more than an hour to my trip. The young man at the counter informed me that I could return it to any Enterprise Facility! Yippee!! saved so much time. That's a nice perk for National. Thanks for always having great service and great cars.

1 Star for multiple reasons. I called the location multiple times earlier in the week to get clarification on an issue, the front end customer service agent could not answer and said we needed to talk to the specific location. (That was the number I called...) I was blind transferred over, and it rang for 10 minutes. Called again, new agent couldn't help, said we had to talk to local office. Told them to connect me directly. They didn't, and I sat with it ringing for 15 minutes. It appears no one works at the actual location. Day of reservation... Walk into the building and well no one was at the desk. Just a sign saying to go talk to enterprises. Well that explains why no one answers the phone. After making a reservation online, walk up to the desk day of reservation and find out there are NO CARS, trucks, SUVs, anything. We are told to just wait for 45 minutes till something hopefully maybe shows up. Why did we make a RESERVATION?!? Ended up waiting over an hour. Absolutely trash customer service over the phone and zero attempt to make it right in person.

Our experience has been awful. For starters, there is a sign posted in the lobby stating masks are required when most employees assisting us were not wearing masks (or properly wearing them) at all. We were unable to check in with National and had to check in at the Enterprise desk because they had no one working their own desk. Then after checking in, we are told it will be a 45 minute wait for our vehicle without even an apology. Ridiculous. I don’t understand the point of a reservation if it will take this long to be served. We are here on business and now will miss our dinner appointment this evening. I know there is a lot we cannot see and understand from the customer perspective, but 4 employees sitting behind the counter and not helping serve the long line of people waiting on their car is a terrible perception. So disappointing.

They were almost out of cars ans whqt they had to chose from on the executive isle was what i used to see in emerald isle. The guy did have a small save fiving me what he called an upfrade for the BMW but that this is not very comfortable for a guy thays 6'3"
