This place is always improving, the owner puts a lot of time, love, and energy into this place. Most of the older reviews are no longer relevant from my experience. The food has seen a major quality increase and the addition of amazing pizza. The game selection is constantly growing. Also, this place has a HUGE verity of on tap beer. The current staff is very nice and knowledge. This place is definitely worth checking out.

This is a very neat place. You can get anything from whiskey to coffee here. Plus they have so many cool games

I have never been to a place that charges an entry fee, open a tab for you when you tell them no, and then charge gratuity on the entry fee after they tell you that you need to close your tab. That's some shady business practices. I would avoid spending money at this place.

Cool concept, but the owner is a jerk. He is basically just super rude to the customers or at least to my group. I was looking for a place that my friends and I could meet weekly but I want it to be a place that actually welcomes us instead of treats our business as a nuisance. I definitely will not be returning, ever. Response: I can't respond to a "Response from the owner" but seeing as the youngest person in our friend group is 24 it is not applicable to this situation. Judging from the other reviews held on here and general talk with people around me, this seems to hold a consensus that the customer service there is terrible. Whether it from the owner of the establishment or not. You will not see me soon, you will not see me again ever.

Starting with the LEAST of the offenses, the food sucks. Some is okay but avoid the 10 burgers at all costs! They are dry as a desert, both the meat and bread. The meat looked like pre-cut, frozen patties you can get at Sam's club. The bread crumbled like sand when we took a bite, but then was hard to chew. The board game selection to rent is pretty pitiful. At least a quarter of them are Hasbro games. For a place dedicated to renting board games, it's pretty lacking. Now for the big big problem. If you set up a game (particularly at their largest table), be ready to move on a moment's notice, because if that table is reserved, you won't know until the group that reserved it gets there. Don't bother asking the staff, because they won't know either. And don't expect any help moving things over, the staff will just tell you to move and basically ignore you after that. We wasted a lot of time setting up our game, just to move the whole thing after playing for an hour. And they only have 1 big table (with a terrible wood finish that makes picking up cards hard). 1 medium table and bunch of diner-sized tables they'll tell you to push together as if every board game is 1 board, and none are made up of map tiles (like ours was, the difference in table heights ruins how those tiles go together). Not worth going to for board games, especially with Hero Complex providing more large tables (with a good finish and generally better size than any table at this place) for free use right next door. Food sucks, stay away.
