I recently spent 3 days at the hotel. The people are very friendly, especially the chief waiter. Food was great, everything I saw was clean. Great hikes in the area and nice views. Everything I would expect from a great stay. I recommend the hotel 100%.

During hiking in the Schwarzwald, you can have a break here, the food is delicious and enough to continue your trip. There is also a bus stop to reach other destinations. Please check timetables for your whole trip, before you start!

Beautiful hotel with very friendly staff and at a great price too. Has a pool, sauna, steam room, nice resteraunt, the works! Perfect place to stop after a long hike and spouts several hiking trails that start right by the hotel.

An excellent hotel that offers a great view over the Wieden valley because it's located above the city of Widen. The hotel provides sauna and a swimming pool (which was a bit cold however). The rooms are very high class and so is the restaurant. The breakfast is very very rich and diversed (salmon is served!). The service is very good as well. An easy 5-star hotel :)
