Since it was a little under an hour before their closing on a snowy Thursday night I really didn’t expect much, but boy was I wrong!! I ordered the Zeus’ Platter (Pork skewer, Chicken skewer, Gyro Meat skewer, Pita, Tzatziki, and Roasted Potatoes) and a Epsa Orangeade. The skewers were cooked fresh, the pita soft and warm, and the potatoes were well, potatoes. Everything tasted pretty dang good!! A little pricey I thought for what are normally considered cheap meats & a drink, but it’s worth a return trip to try their other menu items.

The food is absolutely great. We got the feta brucetta, and a gyro and gyro platter. All of if was amazing. Will definitely hit up whenever we are on that side of the burg.
This place is surprisingly small. It was a rainy day and we thought it was closed. All the lights were off inside and there was no one else in the dining room. No one was at the counter so I had to shout before someone came out of the kitchen to seat us. The restaurant seats about 25 and is very neat and clean, but it was too dark. The food was fair. The skewered gyro meat was delicious but the skewered pork and chicken were dry. My wife's chicken sandwich was good, but the patty appeared to be processed, not fresh. The fries were frozen, bagged. I asked for ice in my drink and they had none. No ice maker. Overall it was not an impressive experience at all.
I am giving three stars because this food is generic. I am from that part of the world who knows how this food is prepared. Greek salad is nothing like the picture. The ingredients are a few. Cucumbers, tomatoes, onion, feta cheese, olives. A lot of olive oil with vinegar and salt & pepper and oregano. This salad was made of iceberg lettuce, etc. The dressing was commercial. The gyro is constantly cooking and the meat is cut in thin slices. As you noticed I only had a bite. It tasted close to the real thing but I couldn’t eat it knowing it’s commercial. The sauce called, tzatziki was generous plus extra was provided. The delivery response was expedited in time. I emphasize that it tasted good but it wasn’t for me.
I absolutely love this place! I always get the panini plaka. For me to drive from Virginia Beach to get food from this hidden gem it’s always worth it!
