I don't know why we waited so long to check this place out! La Tienda has such a fun vibe, and the food was beyond incredible. We tried several small plates (the eggplant was divine - thanks for the recommendation, Karen!), as well as the paella. Sangria was on point and so, so tasty! We'll definitely be back for another date night!

Great date night choice! Food was delicious and flavorful. Service was a little slow and lacking - there were a few times when we just could not find our server, Karen, at all. Also really wanted to try their dessert but was never asked or offered. Tables are small, had they been a bit bigger I probably would have ordered more small plates to try.

Very disappointing. Sat in the corner outside for dinner...waitress gave us water & then we sat for 25 minutes waiting for her to take our drink order. Almost walked out. Waitress was very nice, but clearly overwhelmed. The lights were on in the other part of the exterior, but our lights were never turned on. Ham & cheese app was very bland, couldn’t even taste the ham. Shrimp app was cooked perfectly, but came with only one tiny slice of bread? Fortunately, the waitress offered more bread for dipping. Seafood Paella was not flavorful and the mussels tasted awful. Dish needed more saffron & salt. Seafood cooked well. Almond cake dessert was probably the highlight of the meal. Hopefully this critique helps the restaurant, could’ve been a much better experience if aware of these downfalls.

One of my favorite restaurants in town. Food is delicious and staff is always friendly. The bacon wrapped dates and honey drizzled eggplant are a must! Sangria is also excellent!

We loooove La Tienda Tapas Bar! Everything I’ve eaten here is absolutely delicious! The salad, the clams in cider, the bacon wrapped, dates and the eggplant are my favorites. Love love the charcuterie board, the Galician bread and the soup specials. Sangria is great and I love half priced bottles of wine on Tuesday. Do not miss this super charming spot in Williamsburg. Chef Greg does a great job!

As a Spaniard myself, I can tell you that the food was somewhat authentic. However, I’ve never seen a hostess so rude! She completely destroyed our experience. She made us wait even though the place was empty and we were seated only after she decided it was time. We could’ve spent more money on getting a few things from the store, but decided not to thanks to the hostess. Beware.

Whether you are looking for a place for a romantic rendezvous or just a dinner out with family and friends this is the place for you. The outdoor patio is my preferred choice, if you go in the evening they set the mood with rope lights and propane fires to keep you cozy. The servers are attentive without being intrusive and the chef will dazzle you with all his wonderful creations. The paella was spectacular, try the seafood one, and the crusty bread is perfection, trust me though ask the chef to make 8 minute bread instead of 11. They have a wonderful wine and sangria selection for those wishing to indulge. I can't speak for dessert because all the tapas was so delicious and decadent I couldn't make it past that point. Trust me this is a wonderful spot that you won't regret visiting.
