Haircut was great the person cutting it was not very friendly
I especially made an appointment for my neighbor in the afternoon. The girl said 3:00 PM would be a good time to schedule. I took my neighbor as a surprise for her 77th Birthday to pay for a haircut. It was 3:45 she was called for her haircut! Why make an appointment if you have to wait 45 minutes?! Disappointing.
Rochalle is the BOMB.com ! She is professional and took the proper time to get my hair how it has needed to be for a long time. I’ve been soo skeptical of allowing someone to trim my natural afro, because of my hair turning out very uneven years ago.. but I’m so grateful that I trusted Rochalle! This was my first visit & I will definitely return and bring my family members as well! The prices are affordable and that is sincerely appreciated in this day and age. Thank you kindly.
I have been trying to get in for an appointment since the past month of it opening since the covid closure. I was told every time I walked in that they are booked up for a week. No one ever answers when I called to make an appointment over the phone. Finally, after several failed attempts, a male answered the phone whom I have never heard nor seen in the salon before going on 5 years that I have been going here. He claimed that I can come in for a 1:30pm appointment the next day and claimed that he put me down for that time. Well I arrived at 1:00pm for my appointment and waited 25 minutes. The salon was closed the entire time. There were boxes scattered all over the front of the salon unopened and the lights were off. I was told by several Walmart greeter employees that the salon never opened for the day when they saw that me and my two nieces had been standing there for a while. No one called me from this salon to tell me that the store would not be open. They failed to call me and cancel my appointment and booked me knowing full well that they had no plans on being there the next day. I called when I made it home and the phone line kept ringing busy so they apparently left the phone off of the hook so that it can’t be heard ringing in the store and throughout Walmart! I then ended up calling another Smart Style in Yorktown. They said they were open but their manager Linda Sue was not there to take my complaint. This was two weeks ago and I still have yet to hear from them!
The salon is truly awesome Tiffany and Cassandra are really nice. Cassandra did my hair today. She was very informative every step of the way. Made me feel relaxed and beautiful. The only reason I ddI t give 5 stars is because there was a really rude stylist there that was that came in with an attitude. And was rude to customers and the other stylists all where the customers could hear. But the style was awesome and I truly enjoyed myself. I’m from out of town but I will definitely be back!!!!!
Great people. Great cuts.
Rochellle did a good job of putting in my relaxer. I got a lot of compliments on my hair during the Christmas holiday.
