Spoke with Allen at Williamsburg Walmart tire and lube to get my oil change. Over all the rudest customer service interaction I’ve ever had. When asking basic questions such as what the price differences in oil types were I was met with him becoming visibly frustrated and angrily repeating my options to me while ignoring the question. When he asked what type of synthetic oil I needed he presented only 2 options which were both not right for my car, so I told him the info on my sticker from my last change and he said nothing in response, typed into the computer and handed me my ticket. He said they’d call for me over intercom when I was done but since I had things to do and this typically takes an hour, I asked if he could call the phone number he just got through asking me for earlier. This is something previous Walmart tle’s have volunteered to do for me in the past, He told me I could just come back later and that they were open until 6pm., and then he loudly scoffed as I walked off. I will never set foot in Walmart tle for an oil change ever again because of this interaction. I’d soon rather drive 30 minutes away to a valvoline or something. If this business wants any repeat customers they should keep Allen far away from them.
Traveling from out of state, I had two tires blow on boat trailer, not at same time. I was only a few miles away from this Walmart. Luckily I had tools with me to bring one tire in, get it replaced and then bring boat back to store and replace the other two tires. Even though this was Friday afternoon on Labor Day weekend, staff was courteous and expedient to get me back on the road.
