This is an older theatre and it definitely shows. First, I came for Detective Pikachu. People who attended it at other theatres received promotional items which weren't even mentioned at this one. Guessing they aren't a big Regal location. The theatre was completely abandoned. They don't yet have the assigned seating that other Regals have, which I prefer not having, however, they also don't have the recliner seating that nearly all the other Regals have. That was a bummer. My ticket price (and food and drink price) was the same as the other Regal Cinemas with a sub-par experience. Wasn't thrilled about that. And with the lack of promo items I'm assuming this isn't a popular location and I won't be returning when others are so close nearby. Also, this awful frightening mosaic or whatever you want to call it was on either side of the room I was in. They needs to be burned! It is horrifying!
So sorry we can't utilize this beautiful theater. Cuomo should be ashamed to have taken this small diversion away from people who really need it!
Older fashion theater with old fashion theater seating. At least cinema 12 had this seat. Prices are a bit higher than other theaters. Bathrooms were clean and staff was good. Lines for admission were long. Luckily I ordered our tickets in advance but when I arrived there was only one kiosk to advance tickets.
I bought a gift card today for a teacher gift so she could take her kids to a movie over the break. No envelope, just a gift card. Not even the amount was written on it. Come on Regal, you charge a fortune to go to the movies at least you could do is purchase some nice envelopes for the gift cards. On top of that, it’s a birthday gift card? For a holiday gift. On another note, I was there on Friday, December 6th to see the 12:05 Frozen movie. As we were leaving there was no one watching the area that leads to the movies. Some guy who was by himself just walked right through with a folder in his hand. Doesn’t make me feel very safe going to the movies if anyone off the street can just walk through. If he was an employee there was no indication that he was one. He had a jacket on.
