Decent atmosphere in a nice location. The menu was smaller than I imagined. Would I go there again? Probably. Would I recommend it to all of my friends? Maybe not. Not for any other reason but the fact that there are better options around the same area. That said, it’s great if you have dogs as they are very pet friendly! I don’t have a dog though.

Great place for cafe, outdoors and indoors. Service is always great too, come here often, and they remember you.

It doesn’t get much more historically important, or Art Deco for that matter, than the State Heritage Listed Walter Burley Griffin Incinerator. Now an Art Gallery, this 1930s classic was co-designed by the American architect Walter Burley Griffin who is well known for coming to Australia with his architect wife Marion Mahony Griffin after they jointly won the 1912 competition to design Canberra. After Canberra, the couple moved to Sydney and set up a architectural practice in addition to working on a new project – to develop the land around Middle Harbour – now known as Castlecrag. Unfortunately, this handsome incinerator is only one of two municipal incinerators (the other in Glebe) that survive of the dozen or so that Griffin designed and built during the1930s in cities along the East Coast of Australia. A must see for Australian history buffs and Art Deco lovers!

Under new management and we were all less than impressed. Took 35 min to get one of our coffees and the 'smashed avo' was literally just avo and dry toast. Cost 17 for just this and one egg. Won't be going back, it's a shame as it's a great space

A highly appropriate industrial location for Wade Marynowsky's art exhibition, Algorithmic Pareidolia. Very interesting exhibition. Thanks to Willoughby Council and all concerned.
