My wife ani recently moved to Wilmington. We have been looking at various places to eat and I saw a write up on Soulfil Twist. Yesterday we decided to locate them and found them at their home location. We stopped and spoke with Leon and found that he and Pat owned the food trailer. Leon told us where they would be serving today. We got there early and were in no way disappointed we have had fried okra all over the south including “family “ I will tell you, her breading, is superb not only for the okra but her shrimp. You want to put Soulful Twist on your list of places to eat in Wilmington. 5 stars definitely!!

I have eaten at this food truck twice, and both times the food was exceptionally good, and the people working inside were very nice and friendly. I have had the pork chop sandwich, the blackened chicken with rice and beans, and their bread pudding. It was all awesome, and their seasonings are very good too!
Food was very tasty, staff was very friendly, but my shrimp burger only had 5 small shrimp on it. My suggestion would be to have jumbo shrimp or give 8-10 shrimp on the burger.
Soulful Twist is a food truck I recommend to everyone in the Wilmington area. I had there food for the first time at Broomtail Craft Brewery and cannot wait to have them again in September at The Sour Barn! If you want excellent Southern Soul food you must try Soulful Twist!
