So I visited Winchester Dental Implants and saw Steve who talked me through the treatment he could offer me. This was a extraction with an implant and crown. I underwent extensive implant treatment under Dr Larcombe following the collapse of a prominent bridge in my mouth. Dr Larcombe carefully explained to me that the procedure would require initial bone augmentation surgery to ‘grow’ jaw bone sufficient to hold the new implants. I applaud Dr Larcombe and his team for all their extraordinary work on my behalf. While the initial stage of the process involved an unavoidable degree of very significant pain, I was constantly reassured that all would be well and I am in no doubt that the final, almost miraculous, outcome has made the process entirely worthwhile for me. I have a ‘proper’ mouth once more, free of the limitations and inconvenience of a denture. I can smile with confidence once again and it is again a pleasure to enjoy eating, without any of the enduring concerns which I previously faced as a denture wearer. I am hugely grateful to Dr Larcombe and his colleagues for their outstanding recovery work on my behalf.
