I love all of their Kombucha options and the fact they have a wide range of non dairy milk options. They also have interesting items like BBQ jackfruit, deactivated gluten free dried yeast flakes, apple cider vinegar, a large amount of vitamins and minerals, skin care, essential oils, etc. My only gripe about Holland and Barrett is that they sell a lot of unhealthy snacks loaded with oils and sugar. I prefer my dried fruit to be just fruit, not added sulfites, oil and sugar. The manager has been away during COVID-19 but when he was there he was very helpful with the customers and walked around asking people if they needed help finding an item. He’s also very informative about different products.

Wanted ordinary malt without Omega 3-6-9, because I use triple omega separately. and was told that it was on order for 'next' week. Two weeks later and the order was not not completed and the stock of malt with the omega supplement was still on the shelves. The management idea that people would buy the unsold product failed. The same has happened with the Glucose and Fructose products. I use Fructose and not Glucose. The Fructose product was all sold but not the Glucose product. The same management idea of not ordering the Fructose to clear the Glucose product was again used. Both ideas by the management team are dangerous and ill thought through. One can overdose on the Omega complex as there is no explanation of the strength of the Omega in the malt with it's inclusion. Secondly, there is a world of difference between Fructose and Glucose when ingested by persons with an intolerance to certain sugars and this is particularly marked in children. I am aware that there are smaller tubs of malt available but these are not palatable to myself or to my family. Please advise your Winchester store that it is not best practise and is not good enough. I have to go to Boots now for the products I require. One also wonders what other products in the Winchester store are being treated by the management in the same way?

This is not closed down as was previously reported. Although its a pleasant, large shop, the prices are very expensive. Make sure you check the pricing labels carefully - some of the things in the \penny sale\ actually aren't - the labeling isn't very clear.
